The silk feels genuinely soft against skin, no scratchiness at all, which surprised me for the price. It holds knots well when I tie them snug but slips loose the second I want out, so it's easy to switch roles. Way better than the rough scarf we used to grab from the closet.
Bought this for a role play night and it held up way better than the cheap scarf we used before. The length gives you plenty to work with for tying wrists, and it doesn't leave any marks if you don't cinch it too tight.
The silk is surprisingly soft against the skin and doesn't chafe at all, even during longer scenes. It holds firmly but feels gentle, exactly what I wanted for rope play.
